So I am getting the Iphone 4. And I know that there is a 5 megapixel camera with led flash on the back. But apple has not mentioned how many mega-pixel’s the front camera is or any other specifications. Does anyone know????

I think I read somewhere that the front camera has 3 megapixels, just like on the 3GS.. but I’m not entirely sure…

Steve Jobs about the iPhone 4 Antenna/reception issue.
I did several test’s on my iphone 3gs that is running IOS 4.0 and I am having the same reception problem as the phone 4. I confirmed this by also doing the same test on my Wife’s iphone 3gs that is running OS 3.1.3. I believe that this test will confirm that the iphone 4 has a software bug somewhere. Please excuse my video at the end, my camcorders battery died.

Question by Marshall J: Could I send an unlocked iphone 4 to a girl in Russia so she could use it?
I’ve been doing a little research, but truthfully I don’t know much about the whole iphone 4 use in Russia. I’ve found enough info to know she’d have to cut her sim card, but that’s as far as my knowledge goes on that subject. I was planning on buying an unlocked iphone 4 off eBay for her, but it wouldn’t pay if she couldn’t use it in Russia. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

The iPhone 4 uses a Micro-Sim so if she has a regular SIM card, she will have to cut it. I have seen reports that cutting the SIM card does actually work! Just make sure she doesn’t cut over the metal part… In the link, there are cool step-by-step instructions on how to do so.
And she can indeed use the iPhone 4 in Russia if it is on a GSM Network. And make sure the company she uses actually used SIM cards because Verizon doesn’t use SIM cards. Good Luck!

Listen closely. My iPhone 4 (iOS 4.0.1) just started doing this today. It did it over and over, until I played a song on the iPod, which “fixed” it. Too bad–I kinda liked it.

Iphone Hack how to text your friends when your phone is locked. No jailbreak needed!

My iPhone is on iOS 4.0 and here you can see that I have Cydia installed and it is running SBSettings – a quick toggle for settings. To jailbreak your iPhone 4 – just open up your mobile Safari on your iPhone and go to http and then “slide to unlock.” If the screen doesn’t show up anything other than the background, then reload it again until it says that it is downloading. It took me 3 tries on 3G before it worked. After that it should say “Sit tight” and this is the part where it is jailbreaking and preparing to install Cydia to your iPhone 4. Once everything is done, you should be good to go! UPDATE: It appears that after the JB process if you reboot your iPhone 4, FaceTime and MMS will vanish completely. 3 years? Hardly. It’s still back ordered but it’s only about a 2-3 week wait.
