Question by Boy: How to deal with iPhone 4 proximity sensor problem ?
I got an iPhone 4, had that problem with the proximity sensor, I heard that this is a widespread problem with iPhone 4. Should I return my phone back to the store, or is it something with all iPhone 4s.

I returned it – suggest you do the same.

I’ve had constant prox. sensor issues on my iphone4 the past month, but not one issue on my 3GS for the year prior.

Hey guys, if you have that problem, or know someone who does, follow this tutorial on how to fix it. Important information: Program Name – MobileTerminal Imput these lines into Terminal one by one: su root Password: alpine cd /var/mobile/Media chown -R mobile DCIM If you don’t want to jailbreak your iphone, follow these easy steps. 1. Create a Backup of your iPhone 2. Restore your iPhone to factory settings (NOTE: do not choose the backup, where it asks for the backup, just unplug the iphone.) 3. Take a picture, while the iphone is clear. The picture should save normally. 4. Plug the iphone back into your PC/Mac and save the picture. 5. Question by Danny: How to delete iphone 4 apps without plugging into computer?
I have an iphone 4 and something happened today where my apps had the little “x” as if I could just delete them off the phone. I didn’t know you could do that. I know how to delete them off the computer, but how can I get them off my phone to? I don’t know what I did to get those “x”s but I want to do that again. Also, why can’t I delete the ones that come with the phone, like Stocks? I don’t care about Stocks, so how can I delete it?
