I’ve been playing around with Airplay on my iPad, sending audio the the Apple TV using the iOS 4.2 GM seed that was just pushed out. In my fiddling I came across what could be a pretty annoying bug. Switching output devices in Airplay seems to kill your network connection. I believe it kills WiFi altogether. 1. Play a song in the iPod app, I tried it with other apps too. 2. Switch the output of the song to the Apple TV using the Airplay button 3. Switch the output back to the iPad 4. Launch mobile safari and try to load a page. It should time out. 5. Update (10/4/2010): Parrot replaced the mainboard and navigation board. Replacement took about a week and a half. Everything seems to work OK now, except that the battery goes immediately from 100% to 86% upon takeoff. This happens each time. I have to leave the battery out for hours to even be able to use it again. Sometimes, I don’t even have to turn off the iPhone for it to happen. Afterward, it won’t even connect to the drone and the drone no longer gives me an IP. More information I posted on their forum: forum.parrot.com
