An investigation using 3G speed tests to prove that the iPhone 4′s antenna reception problems are not simply due to a software indicator bug. The test uses speed test apps to prove that 3G reception drops completely when holding the device in the left hand and in a natural manner. The test also indicates that, although 3G browsing is affected, making calls isn’t. The iPhone 4 is a fantastic device overall, but this one antenna problem is serious enough to, in my opinion, warrant postponing buying (or returning) the device until a true hardware fix is made.

it does not work, cause this noob nab never sent a successful MMS to someone. I can see MMS option but it never sends to anyone its give me RED “!” on every Picture or video i send. This is a JOKE!!! its broken still.
ok it did make the camera icon come back up…..but when i try to send a pic the lil red ! comes up……what should i do ???

Face time stil not working! I heard peple with ported numbers have issues…did you heard anything about that ?

I’ve been able to get my mms working again by reinstalling cydia.
I have not been able to get facetime to work though. I’ve gone into settings/phone and turned facetime on and off and done hard and soft restarts. Nothing. It just keeps giving me the “unsuccessful..” message.
Running 4.0.1 with latest cydia. installous, mywifi, my3g and the carrier unlock.
Really don’t want to have to recover then reinstall all the extras i’ve added including a few large apps.
I’m currently running on a cincinnati bell/iwireless sim.on os4 3G.
My problem is that after the 4.0 jailbreak I’m not able to send or receive mms. It attempts to send but,it never completes the transfer. All my date settings are correct. when I switch the sim card over to my 3GS on 3.2 it works fine. Anyone else having a similar problem? Or offer any help???

i dont get the upgrade esssentials pop up, and i already have the little camera icon, the pics just wont send. i hard reset my phone to no avail. PLEASE HELP!!
hey dude this is a great fix and all but it still doesnt work it gives me the camera symbol but it gives a message send failure
i still cant do mms even though it says i can it then just pops up with a little red circle with an exclamation inside it suck i havent tried facetime yet but it says i am able to please help guys !!

I tried the same thing, and had no difference. I positioned my hand the same as yours, I even cupped it more and still the same result. 1765/Kbits download and 633/Kbits upload. did you try to run the test with the phone down on the table without touching it at all and see what the speed is?

good Review you make your point, i spoke to apple already i got a case open just waiting to get really mad to change the phone, because in my case i do get drop calls plus, the bumper doesnt work dont waste ur money go to apple store complaint and u can return it and decline ur contract no problem…if they say no just get a lil mad .. works for me every time
