iPhone 4 has a major design flaw, bit it’s worth working around it.
Video Rating: 5 / 5

In this video, I will talk about the problem I found in voice control. EDIT: I found out there was other bugs in voice control I didn’t say in the video. Here is 1 bug I found that wasn’t in the video: *Voice Control does not dial the correct number when you tell it to type a phone number even in a non-noisy area. This bug happens on iPhone 4. I am not sure about 3gs. If you have the iPhone 4, then check if this bug happens to you. Also, if you found any more bugs in voice control that is not in here, leave a comment saying there is a bug on voice control that is not in the video or the description and I will test those bugs and see if those bugs do happen. Then I will put those bugs in the description.

I love Apple products but common Steve, “Hold the phone differently” that is wrong. It’s funny how your introduced the iPad how the device work around you so you telling us to work around the device. Steve, get your act together and give us a better solution rather than the BS.

@SFCloudy I love Verizon , I wanna make babies with Verizon … little red verizon babies oh yeah !! I feel bad for all those air heads who bend over for steve jobs.

You air heads need to unite and not buy this shit and maybe one day he will take his products to a real network like verizon !!

For those who say put it in a case! It detracts from the selling point of the phone being stylish. Having a case should always be an option for the caution conscious not a necessity. And why must we be told how to hold a phone? It should be natural, thus a serious design failure.

So the options are: phone case or a band aid.

@jorlin101 Well, to answer that, you see, when apple announced voice control to the iPhone 3GS, I thought that I heard in the guided tour that in voice control that you can call people that aren’t even in your contacts are are not yet in your contacts. Same with numbers.

Well I’m sorry I don’t see how you can claim that this is a bug. First of all who is going to call a person that is not in their contacts, If you have no number to match to a name, then it’s not going to call that person, what do you expect the iPhone to do? Look up their name in the phone directory? It’s just not going to happen. Secondly, you are trying to call a name and number that is not recognised as being in your contacts, so of course it’s going to call a similar name in your contacts,

I was trying to call Lauren Beaker because she is from an iPhone 3GS guided tour and I couldn’t think of a name that wasn’t in my contacts. I wasn’t real y going to call her, but it was a test to prove this bug is real. I’m not sure what eould happen if there wasn’t anyone in your contacts but it would call someone in your contacts if you say a name that isn’t in your contacts. Also, I am 11, not 5. In my page, it says I’m older because my dad let’s me see any video I want to see.

  16. Comment by TheIphonesonicfan2 — October 14, 2010 @ 5:26 pm

Sorry. What I meant to say is that you can’t call anyone by name on voice control unless that number is in your contacts.
