Question by Preston: How to get a white iPhone 4 while I’m in a different state?
I’m trying to get the white iPhone 4 in a different state because I’ll be on vacation when the phone comes out. I’ve tried calling Radio Shack and Best Buy, both say I have to pre order in store and can’t do it over the phone. Will Walmart have the white iPhone 4′s on release day (June 24th) ?

No one will have the White iPhone 4 on June 24th. The big question is when and based on the message boards and people who have phoned Apple, it seems the answer is late July.
The white iPhone 4 will not be available from anywhere at initial launch.
It is expected that the white iPhone 4 will be available in late July.
There’s a rumor going around from people who went to AT&T and Best Buy and were told the white iPhone 4 won’t be available until August. And you don’t have to pre-order it in store or over the phone if you order it from AT&T or Apple, you can do it online and ship it to whatever location you are. But, right now all pre-orders have been suspended and most of the people who were lucky to get their pre-orders in, won’t even ship until July 14.
